Pun’kin Chunk

Last year was our club’s first Punkin’ Chunk following Halloween and now we’ve got our 2nd Annual Punkin’ Chunk scheduled for Saturday, November 8 from 10:00 am until noon.

This year, Michael Fiore of Smith’s Garden Town has invited us to use his facility to stage the event, Smith’s Garden Town is at 4940 Seymour Highway.

We’ll be using our own trebuchet and you’re welcome to bring a leftover pumpkin – just as long as it’s still reasonably firm so as to withstand the g-forces of the launch. Due to time limitations we can’t guarantee your own pumpkins will be launched.

Bring the whole family, it’s a fun time!

By the way, this trebuchet (different from a catapult because it uses a weight) was locally built for this event!
